50% of business podcast listeners are tuning in weekly

More than 100 hosts and listers have filled out our business podcast survey. The full report will be published in early 2026. Your input would be super helpful! Participate here.

Each week, I like to share an early insight. This week, we're taking a look at the data collected on business podcast listeners. First, we asked participants how often they listen to or watch podcast content.

"How often you listen to (or watch) podcast content?"

More than 50% of business podcast listeners in the sample reported tuning in at least once every week, with nearly one-third saying they listen a few times each week.

So what does this mean for business podcasters?

  • Publishing frequency matters. If your listeners aren't tuning into your show, they're tuning into someone else's. Publishing more frequently also builds familiarity, which is a stepping stone to trust.

  • Promotion frequency matters. Any given week, a podcast listener is looking for a new episode to consume about a specific topic. If you can publish frequently enough to grab someone's attention on LinkedIn or Facebook, they could be your next loyal subscriber.

More insights coming soon.

🚧 BizDev in AEC is Broken... or is it?

The AEC world is full of brilliant engineers, architects, and builders—yet many firms still struggle to grow the way they should.

In this episode, Mark and I break down what’s actually broken in AEC business development by bringing in three guest voices who see the problems up close every day:

🤖 Would You Still Ride in a Robo-Taxi After Seeing These Dash Cam Videos?

Autonomous vehicles promised safer roads, fewer accidents, and a seamless future — but the real-world footage tells a very different story. In this episode, Ken Lucci and James Blain react to a curated set of shocking, hilarious, and sometimes disturbing AV clips, including Tesla autopilot mishaps, snowy-road confusion, near-miss lane changes, and even a tragic cruise-vehicle incident.

From the “cardboard-box test” debate to the ethics of the trolley problem, they break down what the technology actually sees, how it makes decisions, and why operators shouldn’t assume AI thinks anything like a human.

🔥How Do You Protect Against 'Acts of God' When Insurance Won't Cover Damages?

Climate change is reshaping cottage country, and architect James Pitropov explains what that means for how we design and build lakeside homes.

Drawing on years of field experience across Muskoka, Georgian Bay, Lake Simcoe, and the Kawarthas, James breaks down the real risks owners are now facing—wildfires, flooding, ice storms, gale-force winds, and power outages—and why traditional building methods are no longer enough.

In case you missed it...
